JOHOR BAHRU — Extending its reach beyond local shores, the IM Volunteers Network SG (IMVNSG) took its Sponsor-An-Iftar journey across the border on 28 February 2026, delivering an evening of compassion, choice, and community to Johor Bahru.

Unlike standard food distributions, this initiative focused heavily on personal dignity. Over 35 homeless and vulnerable beneficiaries were given the unique opportunity to walk the shelves and personally select the exact items they needed. Following the shopping trip, participants gathered at Al Hilal Restaurant to break fast side by side.

The cross-border initiative was made possible through the generous backing of Individual Sponsor and Network Supporter, Mdm Dahliyah Hamid. Ground operations were seamlessly managed alongside a dedicated team of about 10 youth volunteers, whose energy and care ensured every attendee felt welcomed and valued.

As the holy month progresses, IMVNSG extends its deepest appreciation to everyone whose trust and support transformed a simple evening into a powerful display of cross-border solidarity and human connection.
